David Nestor

PRESIDENT & OWNER OF URBAN LIGHTS

David’s lighting showroom career began back in the 80’s as the owner of Foothills Lighting located in Lakewood of Colorado, until he sold the showroom in 2005. After a brief time away, his dream was to open a new concept in a lighting showroom. He was pleased to open Urban Lights in 2010, where it went on to win Showroom of Year Awards in both 2011 and 2013. David’s goal is to create an exciting and informative buying experience for each customer that walks through his door by using a series unique merchandising techniques. David has always treated each display fixture in his showroom as if it were a bottle of fine wine, giving it space, and allowing it to breathe. Avoiding the look of traditional big-box retail stores, David emulates an art gallery feel in his showroom, allowing the personality and character of each fixture to truly shine. David prides himself on having the best sales staff in Denver, who continue to build the success of Urban Lights by offering innovative lighting expertise and an excellent customer service experience.
